Frame Construction

Primary frame constructed of 2 x 2and 2 x 3, 11 gauge structural steel tubing. Other sizes used in support and bracing applications.

Bent Tube

Bent steel tubing used in frame and structure construction in conjunction with mitered joints to increase frame load bearing capacity while maintaining or enhancing aesthetic quality.

Fabrication

All joints are beveled half the thickness of the metal before short arc or globular transition are welding using gas metal arc/mig.

Frame Finish

Seat Adjustments

Precision spring loaded pull pin welded on frame with close tolerance, chromed telescopic tubing providing a minimum of 6 inches of adjustment in seat heights and back support positions. Adjusting surfaces are sleeved with UHMW for easy gliding, friction free motion. Gas spring loaded adjusters are used on selected pieces for counterbalance purposes.

Bearings

Browning VPE 116 pillow block bearings or equal, with basic load rating of 2,210 pounds are used on selected pivot mechanisms as needed.

Linear Shafting

Induction hardened (Rockwell 50 or better) shafting is used for all linear bearing applications. Shafts are fully supported and attached to the machine frame for zero deflection and optimum smoothness.

Bolts

Grade 5 minimum - SAE J 422
Grade 8 where necessary as per application and load bearings requirements-
SAE J 429.

Upholstery

Contract grade 36 ounce Boltaflex brand fabric. Facing .0065 gauge. Nominal overall thickness: .055 gauge meets federal flammability specification CCC-A-680a Class 2 treatment (A1-B-C) and California flammability regulation 117-75, Sec. E. Edges double stitched. Wear covers on high fatigue areas.

Protective Upholstery Covers

Molded ABS backing covers are used on selected pieces to prevent upholstery damage when performing dumbbell exercises.

Outer Pad Wear Covers

Stitched wear covers are standard on appropriate pads.

Hand Grips

Rubber grips in various sizes and shapes according to application requirements. Fitted and sealed to prevent slippage.

Rackout System

All bar rackouts are bead blasted and chromed and protect the powdercoat frame finish on the front and side.

Angle Indicators

Provide precise repeatability and enhanced workouts.

Weight Holders

All weight holders are covered with UHMW sleeves and have rubber fittings on both ends to protect frame finish.

Instruction and Maintenance

Mounted placard features correct operation and proper maintenance. Owner's manual details correct use and maintenance (with exploded drawings) for each machine.
